Chicago Park Employees' Annuity & Benefit Fund issued an RFP for a minority- or woman-owned emerging manager to run $15 million in international equity.
The $427 million pension fund will consider separate accounts, commingled or mutual funds, according to the RFP.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT April 30; a date for selection could not be learned by press time.
Chicago Park Employees had a 16.9% allocation to international equity as of Dec. 31, according to the pension fund’s website; Northern Trust Asset Management managed $57 million in all-cap core and William Blair, $14 million in small-cap core.
Neither Dean Niedospial, the pension fund’s executive director, nor Michael Spychalski, assistant vice president at Marquette Associates, the pension fund’s consultant, could be reached by press time for further details.
