John Finnegan was named senior vice president, head of institutional client service at Delaware Investments, said a company spokeswoman.
Mr. Finnegan replaces Jerry Nichols, who is now senior vice president, head of ex-U.S. client services in a newly created role at Delaware Investments.
Mr. Finnegan is responsible for overseeing the firm's client service group, and managing relationships for subadvisory, public, corporate, Taft-Hartley, insurance, and endowment and foundation clients. He reports to J. Scott Coleman, executive vice president and head of distribution.
Mr. Finnegan was managing director of client relations at Turner Investments. Karen Greenberg, senior managing director of consultant relations at Turner Investments, is absorbing his responsibilities, according to a company spokesman.
