California State University, Long Beach, hired Hewitt EnnisKnupp as investment consultant for its $942 million 403(b) plan, said Melody Kojima, assistant director of purchasing.
The university began its search in December to “assist the plan's investment committee and help meet fiduciary responsibilities,” according to the RFP. Incumbent Mercer rebid but did not make the list of finalists.
Other finalists were Buck, Callan and CAPTRUST.
