Alan Lebowitz joined Evercore Trust as a senior adviser in Washington, according to a news release.
Mr. Lebowitz had a 34-year career at the Department of Labor, most recently as deputy assistant secretary for program operations with the Employee Benefits Security Administration. He was replaced by Timothy Hauser in November. He also served as the acting assistant secretary for EBSA during several presidential transition periods.
Evercore Trust is a wholly owned subsidiary of Evercore that provides independent fiduciary services, specialized investment management, and trustee services to employee benefit plans and their sponsors.
