Michael Dean was named executive vice president, head of real assets, and Christopher Tehranian as senior vice president, head of infrastructure research, at Meketa Investment Group, confirmed company spokesman Philip Nunes.
Mr. Dean's position is new, focusing on investment opportunities in real estate, infrastructure and natural resources. Mr. Tehranian, who will be responsible for the sourcing and analysis of infrastructure investments, is replacing David Altshuler who left the firm in January to become a partner and co-head of StepStone Group's infrastructure and real assets group.
Both men will report to John Haggerty, managing principal and director of private market investments.
Mr. Dean was a senior vice president, private market investment analyst at Meketa, while Mr. Tehranian was a vice president, private market investment analyst.
