George Ahl joined real estate investment management firm Forum Partners as managing director, capital markets, said Russell Platt, Forum's CEO in an e-mail.
It is a new position.
Mr. Ahl was one of the founding principals of M3 Capital Partners, a global real estate money management firm. Chris Vallace, principal at M3 Capital, could not be reached for comment by deadline.
The new position, based in the firm's Greenwich, Conn., office, was created “because of Forum Partners' plans for future product development in North America,” Mr. Platt wrote. “A similar new role in London has recently been created to cover European markets with the appointment of Evelyne Dube.” She joined the firm in February.
