Colin Graham joined BNP Paribas Investment Partners as chief investment officer of the multiasset team and head of tactical asset allocation and research, confirmed a spokeswoman for the firm.
Mr. Graham leads the team's strategists, economists and analysts. He also has overall responsibility for the tactical asset allocation process.
He most recently was co-head of the global multiasset strategies team at BlackRock. A spokesman for BlackRock confirmed he left the firm last April. He managed its balance growth and active managed funds. Responsibility for those funds was handed to Philip Brides, who co-manages the funds alongside Andy Warwick.
Mr. Graham replaced Willem Klijnstra, who joined Legal & General Investment Management's asset allocation team in January, said the spokeswoman.
“With his considerable asset allocation experience, I am convinced (Mr. Graham) will enable our MAS team to further refine and strengthen not only its tactical asset allocation activities, but also its other areas of expertise, including core balanced portfolio management and customized and fiduciary solutions,” said Charles Janssen, head of multiasset solutions, in a news release. Mr. Graham reports to Mr. Janssen and is based in London
