Thomas Vester was named chief investment officer at Lloyd George Management, a boutique subsidiary of BMO Global Asset Management, BMO spokeswoman Hibre Teklemariam said.
The position is new.
Mr. Vester will be responsible for coordinating the investment process and criteria for stock selection. He will report to Tony Cousins, CEO of Lloyd George Management.
He will retain his responsibilities as director and portfolio manager on the frontier markets team.
