Louisiana Teachers’ Retirement System, Baton Rouge, has issued its solicitation for proposals for an active international large-cap value equity manager to run about $400 million, confirmed Dana Brown, director of public markets.
The $15.8 billion pension fund is conducting the search because the contract of current manager MFS Investment Management is expiring. The firm is invited to rebid.
Proposals are due at 4:30 p.m. CDT on April 11. Finalist presentations, followed by a selection, are scheduled for June 5.
The SFP is available on the pension fund’s website.
Investment consultant Hewitt EnnisKnupp is assisting.
