Houston Municipal Employees Pension System, made two new private equity commitments totaling $45 million, confirmed spokesman Peter Koops.
The $2.3 billion pension fund committed $25 million to Vista Equity Partners Fund V, a middle-market buyout fund that focuses on software and technology companies.
The pension fund also committed $20 million to EnCap Flatrock Midstream Fund III, which backs infrastructure projects in oil and natural gas liquids.
Mr. Koops did not have further information by press time.
