John Haddock was named CEO of Australia's CHAMP Private Equity, according to an e-mailed statement.
The position is new. Mr. Haddock is currently a managing director at the firm. According to a company news release, Mr. Haddock will retain his managing director role in “deal flow generation and portfolio management,” while taking on responsibility for the firm's overall investment program as well as day-to-day management.
Founders Bill Ferris and Joe Skrezynski will retain their leadership roles on CHAMP's investment committees and boards, according to the release.
In the e-mail, Mr. Haddock confirmed that his appointment essentially formalized a transition that had been in the works for the several years.
