Rollins College, Winter Park, Fla., will introduce a new investment lineup for its $82 million 403(b) plan effective April 1, confirmed Jennifer Addleman, manager of benefits.
The changes come in tandem with the transition to Transamerica Retirement Solutions as the plan’s new record keeper. The college issued an RFP last year for a single record keeper for the plan as a result of changes in IRS regulations, Ms. Addleman said in a telephone interview. Current record keepers Fidelity Investments and TIAA-CREF rebid.
The new investment option lineup, consisting of 21 options along with a brokerage window and customized target-date fund, is the result of a study by the college’s investment committee. The previous lineups consisted entirely of Fidelity and TIAA-CREF funds.
The six domestic large-cap equity funds are the Gabelli Asset I fund; T. Rowe Price Growth Stock fund; and Vanguard Group’s Growth Index, Total Stock Market Index, Value Index and Windsor II funds.
The six domestic small-cap equity funds are the American Beacon Small Cap Value fund; ClearBridge Small-cap Growth fund; DFA U.S. Small Cap fund; and Vanguard’s Small-Cap Index, Growth Index and Value Index funds.
The five fixed-income funds are the BlackRock Inflation-Protected Bond fund, Delaware Extended Duration Bond fund, Prudential Short-Term Corporate Bond fund, Vanguard Long-Term Treasury fund and Wells Fargo Advantage Short Duration Government Bond fund.
Other options are the Driehaus Emerging Markets Growth fund, Federated International Leaders fund, Standard Stable Asset fund and Third Avenue Real Estate Value fund.
