United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund, New York, is searching for a consultant to do an asset-liability study, confirmed a pension fund spokeswoman.
The $52 billion pension fund undertakes a study every four years and hires a consulting firm to make the study because the pension fund does not have a permanent external investment consulting firm. Aon Hewitt completed the last asset-liability study for the pension fund in 2010.
The request for expression of interest is available from the U.N. website. Proposals are due March 17. The pension fund hopes to make a decision by early summer.
