Miguel Castillo was named portfolio manager on the fixed-income rates and currency team at American Century Investments, according to company spokeswoman Laura Kouri.
The position is new. Mr. Castillo will co-manage eight domestic bond fund strategies. He will report to Bob Gahagan, senior vice president and senior portfolio manager, who heads the seven-member team.
Mr. Castillo was a senior fixed-income trader at American Century Investments. The firm has no plans to fill his prior position.
