Alaska Retirement Management Board, Juneau, is searching for a real estate consultant, confirmed Judy Hall, liaison officer for the board.
Incumbent Townsend Group is invited to rebid. Its contract expires June 30.
The board, which oversees $24.8 billion in retirement assets, including $20.9 billion in defined benefit plan assets, had $1.3 billion invested in real estate as of Dec. 31.
The search is being handled internally. The RFP is available on the board's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. Alaska Daylight Time April 7. A hiring decision is expected by the end of April.
