Winchester (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is seeking a passive real estate manager to run $2 million to $5 million, according to an announcement on the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission's website.
The $93 million pension fund is soliciting proposals from firms interested in providing a passive real estate mutual fund and/or a passively managed real estate pooled investment vehicle. A funding source has not been determined yet.
The RFP is available on the town's website or by requesting a copy from Karen Manchuso, administrator for the pension fund board, via e-mail at [email protected]. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT on March 31. A selection is expected to be made sometime in June, according to Ms. Manchuso.
