Hertfordshire County Council Pension Fund, Hertford, England, hired Royal London Asset Management and Henderson Global Investors to run two separate fixed-income allocations, confirmed a spokesman for Hertfordshire County Council.
Royal London Asset Management was chosen to run an actively managed core-plus U.K. bond allocation of between £350 million ($582 million) and £400 million, according to procurement documents issued in January. The spokesman said the allocation was subject to final contract.
Henderson Global Investors was appointed to run an actively managed unconstrained/absolute-return global bond allocation of between £150 million and £200 million. The spokesman confirmed the allocation.
The pension fund has about £2.4 billion in assets.
