St. Louis Public School Retirement System's investment committee has recommended hiring OFI Global Asset Management to run about $22 million in active emerging markets equities, according to recently released investment committee meeting minutes.
Funding will come from the $927 million pension fund's termination of Batterymarch Financial Management. A reason for the termination was not given.
The pension fund's board of trustees is scheduled to vote on the hiring at its Feb. 24 meeting.
Investment consultant NEPC assisted.
