Roman Nemtsov is joining real estate investment firm Gaw Capital Partners USA as senior vice president, investments, in the soon-to-be-opened Chicago office, said Ashley Ng, spokeswoman.
It is a new position. Mr. Nemtsov will oversee a hospitality joint venture, develop other joint ventures in the U.S. and oversee the Gaw Capital U.S. Value-Add fund, a new $300 million targeted real estate fund the firm is in the process of raising from a mix of U.S. and Asian investors.
Mr. Nemtsov was a consultant in R.V. Kuhn's & Associates' real estate consulting group; Dan Krivinskas, consultant and director of real estate consulting, said the firm is search for a replacement.
“We are actively looking for individuals, both at the junior and senior levels, to add to our growing team, Mr. Krivinskas said.
