Lincoln (Neb.) Police & Fire Pension Fund is looking for its first external global custodian, confirmed Paul Lutomski, pension officer.
The $200 million pension fund's custody services are currently handled internally by Mr. Lutomski and city Treasurer Melinda Jones. Mr. Lutomski said the pension fund's board decided to seek a firm to provide the services as part of a modernization effort.
The RFP is available on the city's procurement website. Proposals are due at noon CDT on March 20. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
