Portsmouth, N.H., rehired H.M. Payson as investment consultant for its trust fund investment pools, confirmed Robert P. Sullivan, city attorney.
The city issued an RFP in November because it had been more than five years since the services had been put up for bid.
Compass Rose Private Investment Management and Weyland Capital Management were the other finalists.
The investment pools, comprising more than 80 charitable trust funds, have combined assets of $13 million. The assets are currently invested in exchange-traded funds.
