Oak Brook (Ill.) Police Pension Fund is searching for at least one investment consultant, confirmed Rose Kane, police pension clerk.
The $32 million pension fund's current consultants are Lowery Asset Consulting, which advises on the pension fund's equity investments, and MB Financial Bank, which advises on fixed-income investments. Both firms are invited to rebid.
The search is being conducted “to be in compliance with the Illinois state pension code” to periodically put the contract out to bid, according to the RFP.
The RFP is available on Oak Brook's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. CST on Feb. 14. A decision is expected no sooner than the end of April.
