Medford (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for a passive S&P 500 index manager to run about $16 million, according to an RFP posted on the website of NEPC, investment consultant to the $168 million pension fund.
The selected firm must have a five-year track record and at least $500 million in assets in the proposed strategy, according to the RFP. The proposed investment vehicle must be a commingled fund or trust.
The RFP can be found on NEPC's website. Proposals should be sent to Daniel Runnals, analyst at NEPC, via e-mail at [email protected]. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST on Feb. 17. A selection date was not disclosed.
Calls to Tina Rapatano, administrator of the pension fund, were not returned at press time.
