Nick Good, BlackRock’s Hong Kong-based managing director and head of strategy and business development, Asia-Pacific, is leaving the company Thursday to pursue other opportunities, a BlackRock spokesman confirmed.
The spokesman said he had no further details regarding Mr. Good’s plans. Mr. Good couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
Mr. Good leaves just short of two years after BlackRock appointed him as head of strategy and business development for the Asia-Pacific region in February 2012. He had previously led the firm’s iShares business there.
BlackRock “will make further announcements about the leadership of the strategy team in due course,” the spokesman said in an e-mailed statement.
