Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, is searching for an actuarial consultant, confirmed spokesman Tim Barbour.
The $12 billion pension fund is conducting the search as a result of its policy to put the services up for bid every five years. Current consultant Cavanaugh MacDonald Consulting is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EST on Feb. 21. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for March 10-12, with a selection shortly thereafter.
