Utah Educational Savings Plan, Salt Lake City, is searching for a general consultant, confirmed Diane Johnson, outreach manager for the 529 plan.
Incumbent AKF Consulting can rebid. Its contract is expiring, Ms. Johnson said. The consultant will assist the plan with legislative and regulatory developments, make recommendations on a variety of 529 plan matters and advise on strategic opportunities, among other services, according to the RFP.
The $6.7 billion plan has 14 investment options.
The RFP is available on procurement website BidSync. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. MST Feb. 3. A hiring decision is expected by Feb. 6 with the contract starting Feb. 13.
