Travis Spence, a managing director with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, was appointed head of the firm's global strategic relationship group, Asia-Pacific ex-Japan.
The position is new. Mr. Spence oversees the firm's largest global, regional and local intermediary client relationships in Asia, said Daniel Chui, a Hong Kong-based spokesman for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Mr. Spence previously served as head of global liquidity, Asia-Pacific. Paula Stibbe, a New York-based client portfolio manager with JPMAM's global short-term fixed-income group, was named head of global liquidity, Asia-Pacific, and will relocate to Hong Kong.
