Miami Beach (Fla.) Firefighters and Police Officers Pension Fund hired Gabriel, Roeder, Smith as actuary, confirmed Celia B. Locke, executive director.
The $698 million pension fund issued an RFP in October to follow “best practices” to review its actuary periodically, according to Ms. Locke.
Incumbent Buck Consultants was a finalist, along with The Nyhart Co.
