Suzanne Crosby was named director of institutional accounts at Richard Bernstein Advisors, Ms. Crosby confirmed.
The position is new. Ms. Crosby will be responsible for designing investment strategies for institutional investors and developing relationships. She will report to John McCombe, president and director of distribution at RBA.
“We're now making an effort to build business around institutional accounts,” Ms. Crosby said in an interview.
Ms. Crosby was a partner at Mercer Investment Consulting, where she focused on growing the traditional advisory and outsourced CIO businesses among non-profit clients. Charles Salmans, a spokesman for Mercer, did not know by press time whether she has been replaced.
