Oisin Crawley joined BlackRock in Hong Kong on Monday as director and head of research for the firm's Asian fundamental equity team.
The position, which reports to Andrew Swan, managing director and head of Asian fundamental equity, is a new one, confirmed a BlackRock spokesman.
Mr. Crawley comes to BlackRock from the Hong Kong office of London-based TT International.
A TT International spokesman couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
