Jacksonville (Fla.) City Retirement System named three finalists in its search for an investment consultant, confirmed Chief Investment Officer Joey Greive.
The $2 billion pension fund issued an RFP in September. The search is being conducted to test the marketplace. Mr. Greive wrote in an e-mail that the pension fund is “always looking for ways to get better and achieve the best possible results for our stakeholders going forward.”
Current consultant Summit Strategies Group is a finalist, along with Meketa Investment Group and Pension Consulting Alliance.
Finalist interviews will take place in late February or early March, Mr. Greive wrote. A decision on an exact date is expected at the pension fund's Jan. 23 board meeting.
