Nancy Everett has left BlackRock as managing director and co-head of markets and strategic asset allocation in the firm's U.S. client solutions group, confirmed people with knowledge of the situation.
Ms. Everett joined BlackRock in January 2011 as head of the U.S. fiduciary management solutions unit. Prior to joining BlackRock, she was CEO of Promark Global Advisors, the New York-based money management firm that had been known as General Motors Asset Management, which managed internal and external retirement plan assets.
In September 2011, BlackRock hired Mark Taborsky as co-head of the unit along with Ms. Everett.
It was not known where she has gone or if the firm is seeking a replacement. Ms. Everett could not be reached by press time. Spokesmen from BlackRock declined to comment.
