Adams County Retirement Plan, Brighton, Colo., is searching for an investment consultant, confirmed Pamela Mathisen, executive director.
Incumbent Watershed Investment Consultants is invited to rebid. Watershed's contract is currently renewed on an annual basis. Ms. Mathisen said the RFP was issued as a best practices decision by the board.
As of Sept. 30, the $220 million pension fund had a target asset allocation of 32.5% domestic equity, 25% fixed income, 15% each international equity and hedge fund of funds, 10% real estate and 2.5% private equity.
The RFP is available on a state procurement website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. MST Jan. 31. Finalist presentations are slated for April 1, with a hiring decision on April 4.
