Pfizer Inc. hired Boston Partners as the active domestic large-cap value equities investment option for all of the firm's U.S. and Puerto Rico defined contribution plans, confirmed John Croke, director of pension investments at Pfizer.
The plans have a combined $10 billion in total assets and $365 million in large-cap value equities.
The money management division of Robeco is replacing Eaton Vance as Pfizer's large-cap manager. Boston Partners received an RFP in September, according to Boston Partners spokeswoman Katherine McMillan.
Mr. Croke declined to comment on whether Eaton Vance rebid or other finalists.
Boston Partners managed nearly $51 billion as of Dec. 31.
