Anniston (Ala.) Firefighters' and Police Officers' Pension Plan hired Boston Advisors and O'Shaughnessy Asset Management to run $4.5 million each in active domestic large-cap equities, confirmed Steven Roth, director of manager research at Dahab Associates, the $22 million pension fund's investment consultant.
Boston Advisors will run growth and O'Shaughnessy, value.
The pension fund issued an RFP in August. The incumbents were invited to rebid; growth manager Rushmore Investment Advisors did rebid, while value manager Eaton Vance did not.
Other finalists were The Boston Co. Asset Management and Brandywine Global Investment Management.
A phone call to Danny McCullars, finance director of Anniston, was not returned by press time.
