Medford (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is seeking proposals from law firms to provide portfolio monitoring and fraud litigation services, confirmed Tina Rapatano, administrator for the $159 million pension fund.
This is the first time the pension fund is seeking such services from law firms. The board might select either one or two firms to handle these services.

Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. EST Jan. 21. A selection is expected by March, if not sooner.
