Chicago Transit Authority Employees Retirement Plan and the CTA Retiree Health Care Trust are searching for investment consultants, according to RFPs posted on the pension fund's website.
Gray & Co. is the consultant for both the pension fund and health-care trust. It could not be learned by press time whether it can rebid. The new contract is for five years.
For the $1.85 billion pension fund RFP, consultants can submit proposals for all asset classes, just real estate or all asset classes excluding real estate, according to the RFP. The $700 million health-care trust is looking for one consultant.
The pension fund has an asset allocation of 46% domestic equity, 11% each fixed income, hedge funds and stable value, 10% real estate, 6% private equity and 5% international equity.
The RFPs are available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CST Jan. 24. Finalist interviews are scheduled for Feb. 20, with a hiring decision expected on Feb. 28.
