Anchorage (Alaska) Police and Fire Retirement System hired CBRE Clarion Securities to run about $9.5 million in REITs, confirmed Edward Jarvis, director.
AEW Capital Management and CenterSquare Investment Management also were finalists. Funding comes from the August termination of Adelante Capital Management. The assets were parked in a real estate investment trust index fund managed by Mellon Capital Management.
Investment consultant Callan Associates conducted the shortlist search for the $343 million pension fund.
