Sandy Blair was named director of defined contribution solutions at CalSTRS, confirmed spokesman Ricardo Duran.
She replaces Julia Durand, who took over as deferred compensation manager of the $18.5 billion San Francisco City & County Employees' Retirement System.
Ms. Blair will administer the CalSTRS Pension 2 plan, which consists of voluntary 403(b), 457 and Roth 403(b) plans with a combined $517 million in assets.
Ms. Blair has been at the $175.9 billion California State Teachers' Retirement System, West Sacramento, since 2009 and was most recently field services manager, overseeing all of CalSTRS' member service centers in West Sacramento, Glendale and Santa Clara.
