Kay Willcox, managing director and senior portfolio manager at Prudential Fixed Income, a division of Prudential Financial, plans to retire in the second half of 2014, according to company spokeswoman Theresa Miller.
Ms. Willcox joined Prudential Financial in 1987 and oversees more than $19 billion for institutional clients.
Richard Piccirillo, a principal and portfolio manager at Prudential Fixed Income, will assume many of Ms. Willcox's responsibilities over the coming months and will take a lead role to be named later when she retires. Until then, his title will remain the same.
In addition to taking over Ms. Willcox's duties, Mr. Piccirillo serves as senior portfolio manager for Prudential Fixed Income's short/intermediate core and core-plus fixed-income strategies and is a portfolio manager for its global rates and securitized products team.
He will continue to report to Craig Dewling, a managing director and head of the global rates and securitized products team at Prudential Fixed Income.
