Weymouth (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an unconstrained fixed-income manager and a closed-end value-added real estate manager, confirmed Jo-Ann Anti, director of the $160 million pension fund.
The pension fund is searching for a manager to run $5 million to $7.5 million in “dedicated unconstrained, flexible-duration fixed-income strategies with a return objective of positive absolute return in a variety of market conditions,” according to an RFP.
There is also a search for a manager to run $1.5 million to $2.5 million in “closed-end diversified value-add real estate investment funds,” according to another RFP.
Proposals for both strategies are due at 4 p.m. EDT Jan. 15. The two RFPs can be obtained by e-mailing Maura Goulart, research associate at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, the pension fund's investment consultant, at [email protected].
Ms. Anti and Ms. Goulart did not return phone calls seeking further information.
