ERAFP, Paris, hired Natixis Asset Management and Robeco Institutional Asset Management to run U.S. equities, according to a news release from the pension fund.
The managers could run a total of about €300 million ($411.4 million) over a three-year time period, according to the news release. The investments will be benchmarked to the MSCI USA index. It could not be learned by press time how much each manager will run.
The appointments by the €15 billion Etablissement de Retraite Additionnelle de la Fonction Publique, the French civil servants' pension fund, follow a restricted call for proposals launched in March.
The pension fund also named Morgan Stanley Investment Management as standby manager. A spokeswoman for ERAFP could not be reached for further comment.
