Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System, Des Moines, on Friday issued an RFP for a general investment consultant.
The contract of incumbent Wilshire Associates expires Sept. 30, 2014, triggering the search to comply with a state statute requiring rebidding, Karl C. Koch, chief investment officer of the $26.4 billion pension fund, said in a statement. Wilshire may rebid.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website.
Proposals are due Jan. 10. The board expects to make a decision between March and June. The contract will begin Oct. 1.
