Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System, Harrisburg, is searching for an active domestic large-cap value equity manager to run $160 million, confirmed James Allen, secretary for the $1.8 billion pension fund.
The pension fund is conducting this search because its contract with its current manager, LSV Asset Management, is set to expire in February, Mr. Allen said in a phone interview. LSV is expected to rebid.
The pension fund's investment consultant, Dahab Associates, is assisting.
The RFP is available on the Dahab's website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST Jan. 22. A selection date has not yet been determined.
