Joshua Glaser was named a director and head of private equity for Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management's global client group, while Brian Chiappinelli joined DeAWM as a director and North American product specialist for private equity, according to company spokeswoman Catherine Wooters.
Both positions are new.
Mr. Glaser is based in New York and reports to Pascal Botteron, global head of alternative investments for the global client group. Mr. Chiappinelli is based in Boston and reports to Mr. Glaser.
Mr. Glaser was director of investor relations for Paul Capital Partners, while Mr. Chiappinelli was a vice president at HarbourVest Partners, where he was responsible for business development and client relations. David de Weese, a partner at Paul Capital, confirmed that Mr. Glaser was replaced by Terry Wetterman. Calls to Laura Thaxter, a spokeswoman for HarbourVest Partners, were not returned by press time.
