Chris Moran was named head of subadvisory at Schroder Investment Management North America, confirmed company spokeswoman Melanie Blanco in an e-mail.
Mr. Moran replaced Erin Brenner, who left the industry to pursue other opportunities.
Mr. Moran will help manage and expand Schroders' existing subadvisory client relationships. He will also work to generate new business in the U.S. He will report to Carter Sims, head of U.S. intermediary distribution.
Mr. Moran was national sales manager and client adviser at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. The company intends to fill the position sometime in early 2014, according to spokeswoman Kristen Chambers. In the meantime, Mr. Moran's responsibilities are being overseen by Kevin Clark, a client adviser and senior member of the sales team.
