Peter Vincent was named head of alternative sales, Europe, at Franklin Templeton Investments, confirmed a company spokeswoman.
It is a new position. Mr. Vincent reports to Jamie Hammond, managing director, Europe.
Mr. Vincent was previously head of the U.K. institutional business at Permal Group, according to Permal Group spokesman Alastair Crabbe. He will not be replaced.
