Missouri State Employees' Retirement System, Jefferson City, is searching for an auditor, confirmed Michele L. Nix, assistant chief finance officer.
The $8 billion pension fund is seeking a firm to provide independent auditing services for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014. The selected firm will be given a one-year contract with the option of four one-year renewals.
The previous auditor, Williams-Keepers, which has done audits for the past four years, is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on MOSERS' website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CST on Dec. 2. A firm should be selected by Jan. 31.
