Louisiana State Police Retirement System, Baton Rouge, might shift about $10 million of its passive domestic fixed-income assets into an active global fixed-income portfolio to reduce its exposure to Treasuries, said Irwin L. Felps Jr., executive director.
The $548 million pension fund's investment committee will recommend at the Nov. 20 board of trustees meeting that the pension fund move $10 million to an active global fixed-income portfolio managed by Brandywine Global Investment Management, giving it a total of about $20 million.
Funding would come from reducing the passive domestic fixed-income portfolio managed by State Street Global Advisors, leaving the manager with about $17 million.
