Chad Rakvin was named head of U.S. index funds and Shaun Murphy was named index funds-director at Legal & General Investment Management America, confirmed a company spokesman.
Both are new positions. Mr. Rakvin and Mr. Murphy were previously managing director of equity index and director of international equity index, respectively, at Northern Trust Asset Management.
At Northern Trust, Matthew Peron, managing director, active equity, was named managing director, global equity, a new position, on Oct. 28, the same day Messrs. Rakvin and Murphy left the company.
